Before husband Bob retired, he created an Excel workbook intended to manage our income and expenses. It was one worksheet and very basic. Today, it contains several worksheets including investments and savings, values of our assets, projections based on two incomes and one income, financial life expectancy, and monthly income/expenses. Some of the dollar amounts are linked between the worksheets using formulas.
